Our classic portrait sittings are a relaxed, creative experience, typically lasting an hour to two hours. We work with three to five outfits, exploring various lighting styles and backdrops. Guiding you through every step, we create a comfortable environment where you can be yourself, resulting in authentic, timeless portraits. This thoughtful approach ensures a diverse collection of images and an enjoyable experience.

Based on years of experience, we have created three portrait sitting packages ranging from a shorter three-portrait sitting to a more in-depth studio experience and portrait collection. All portrait sittings are non-refundable, paid in advance to reserve your experience in our studio.

FAQ

  • Do you offer hair & Makeup? Yes, and we highly recommend women add our studio makeup artist, Katie Klein. Katie’s expertise is invaluable, and she adds to the experience. She will spend the first hour working on your makeup & hair. She has 20 years of experience working in makeup and knows how to accommodate your style while also understanding what works best for our monochromatic photography. Katie also stays for the entire photo shoot to provide touch-up modifications, advise on wardrobe, and assist in posing and direction.

  • Should men wear makeup too? We advise men not to wear makeup unless they want it for stylistic purposes.

  • Do you offer prints? Yes. When you purchase your portraits from us, you buy the digital file. We send both web + high-resolution files. We also offer matted prints of your portraits.

  • What if I have to reschedule? We understand life events come up and will work with you. We allow one reschedule due to such circumstances. We charge a $500 rescheduling fee if a second reschedule is necessary.

  • What should I wear? This is always up to you, but we love to work with one darker-toned outfit and one lighter outfit. If you need help, we will send you an inspiration board for ideas.

  • How far out do you book? We are typically booked 30 - 60 days out, depending on the time of year.

  • Do you offer studio family/group photography? No, our small studio is designed to work with one person at a time.

  • Can I bring my pet? No, our building does not allow pets.
